RED CARPET LAUNCHJackie Collins, Nigel Lythgoe, Mischa Barton, Julian Sands, Ioan Gruffudd, Matthew Rhys, Fred Willard, the cast and judges of Dancing With The Stars, the Rev. Jesse Jackson, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and a host of celebrities and dignitaries helped kicked off BritWeek at the fabulous Red Carpet Launch at the beautiful Hancock Park residence of Patricia Heaton and David Hunt. |

AN EVENING WITH PIERS MORGAN Piers Morgan was honored at the star-studded BritWeek Gala Dinner at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. The evening featured an entertaining and revealing interview between Piers and Jackie Collins, with Jackie Collins asking the questions, and spectacular live musical performances by Michael Johns (American Idol) and Dancing with the Stars semi-finalist and mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins. Ross King served as Emcee, and Jerry Springer introduced our Guest of Honor. Kelly Osbourne, Holly Robinson Peete and Bear Grylls were among the many celebrity guests paying tribute to Piers and raising funds for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. |

BRITWEEK UKTI BUSINESS INNOVATION AWARDSThe Mill (Design), Rocket Fuel, Inc. (Marketing & Communications), Cinemagic (Philanthropy), Chaucer Freight (Service Provision) and Gilead Sciences, Inc. (Technology) took top honors for outstanding innovations at the third BritWeek UKTI Business Innovation Awards. Scores of entries from some of the most exciting businesses and entrepreneurs in the US and UK were judged by Andy Bird (Chairman of Walt Disney International), Ian Callum (Design Director for Jaguar) and world-renowned creativity expert Sir Ken Robinson, who delivered a very funny and thought-provoking keynote speech. The Dinner received global attention and was attended by senior executives from a range of businesses with operations in California and the UK, as well as by community leaders and other dignitaries. |

FILM & TV SUMMITAcademy Award® winning producer Graham King offered keen observations on the film marketplace on both sides of the Pond in his keynote speech at the 5th Annual Film & TV Summit, presented by Variety in partnership with BAFTA LA. Along with more than a dozen entertainment industry leaders, he addressed participants at the Intercontinental Hotel. The sold out event featured a series of fascinating panel discussions exploring the challenges and opportunities from both creative and business perspectives in the two most globally successful filmmaking clusters in the world: Britain and Hollywood. |

ART PROGRAM / ART BATTLE & AWARDSThis year’s art program was truly sensational, and featured an epic Art Battle and Competition. The Art Battle LA took place between leading British Street Artists Eine and Inkie and their LA counterparts Man One and Mear One, who worked against the clock to create artwork paying homage to the 2012 Summer Games’ theme on sustainability and its overall spirit of unified competition across borders. The T4C Art Competition showcased recent works in multiple media, and the winners will have their works shown at the prestigious Finalists Exhibition in London during the Summer Games from July - August 2012. Other exhibitions included a mobile installation, On The Horizon: New Generation British Painters and My Own Worst Enemy (which runs through June 16), a Rock Photography Exhibit and a retrospective of photos by iconic photographer Duffy. |

CHRISTOPHER GUY DESIGN AWARDSInternationally renowned British designer and furnishings manufacturer Christopher Guy held the second Christopher Guy BritWeek Design Awards to celebrate the work of talented young Californian designers. An incomparable evening featured a fashion show showcasing stunning hats by renowned, London-based milliner Philip Treacy, who was honored with the BritWeek Designer of the Year Award, presented by Sofia Milos. Philip also joined the celebration and helped judge the design competition. The winner and runners-up were awarded internships in Singapore and London, and the winner will also go to Paris! |
