Sir Ian Fleming’s iconic MI6 agent has been thrilling audiences ever since his first film outing in 1962’s Dr. No. In celebration of BritWeek IN HOUSE, BAFTA Los Angeles has curated a selection of BAFTA interviews and footage with some of the creative talents from both sides of the camera.
DANIEL CRAIG
In 2006, Daniel Craig became the sixth actor to portray the iconic agent in the official film series. Beginning with Casino Royale, Daniel continued with Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, Spectre, and will be seen again in the forthcoming No Time to Die. Hear Daniel, along with other guests of the BAFTA Tea Party, discuss which films have made him cry, and favorite films from the 1970s.
VIC ARMSTRONG
British film director, stunt coordinator and stuntman Vic Armstrong, was action and stunt coordinator for many Bond films, performing many of the most memorable stunts in films including Live and Let Die, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, and You Only Live Twice. In this excerpt from the BAFTA Heritage Archive Interview, Vic shares his long-standing connection with the James Bond franchise, and the importance of making the stunts match tonally with the movies.
NAOMIE HARRIS
Naomie joined the Bond cast to play Moneypenny in Skyfall. Originally introduced in the film as a field agent, and even shooting 007 in the opening sequence, by the end of the film Moneypenny is established in her more familiar role in M’s office at MI6. In this excerpt, Naomie discusses using YouTube as an acting resource, realizing what you're capable of and why fear is a good thing.

COLIN SALMON
Colin played the Deputy Chief of Staff Charles Robinson at MI6, working alongside Judi Dench’s “M”. He first appeared Tomorrow Never Dies, then later in The World Is Not Enough, and Die Another Day. SAM MENDES
Sam Mendes took the helm of the series in 2013 by directing Skyfall, returning again in 2015 for its follow-up Spectre. That same year, Sam was the recipient of the John Schlesinger Britannia Award for Directing.
