This season, the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields and Music Director Joshua Bell celebrated the orchestra’s 60th anniversary with a Gala Concert at Queen Elizabeth Hall in London. With a career spanning over thirty years, Joshua Bell is one of the most celebrated violinists of his era. Since 2011, Bell has served as Music Director of the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, succeeding Sir Neville Marriner. Bell performs on the 1713 Huberman Stradivarius violin.
